Odilon Redon began with dark, dreamlike drawings, but later his work turned to vibrant color. He created some of the most luminous, imaginative works of his time. In his pastels and paintings, bold blooms, mythical creatures, and glowing halos of light emerge in radiant hues. Masterpieces like Flower Clouds and Wildflowers were heavily influenced by Symbolism, Redon used color not to describe the visible world, but to evoke emotion, mystery, and wonder.
