Fortunato Depero was an Italian painter, writer, sculptor and graphic designer. He also worked as a stage set and costume designer. He had an eye for creating futuristic items and images. He opened the House of Futurist Art in Rovereto, which offered toys, tapestries and furniture in the futuristic style. Depero moved to New York City on two occasions, lending his hand to interior design and magazine covers. His art captures the spirit of futurism, bold and graphic, with pops of color.
